Matt & Rebecca's Wedding Day!!

by Jackey

Wedding & Reception venue: Memorial Baptist Church
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Cakes: Ludger's
Transportation: First Class Limousine

After capturing Rebecca's bridal and engagement portraits, we were so excited to also have the honor of photographing the wedding! Blaine & I worked in tandem, getting formals and details before the ceremony and kept the bride and groom in separate places so that Matt could see his gorgeous bride for the first time, when she walked down the aisle.
Rebecca is so elegant and graceful, she glided down the aisle, looking like a model!

The reception was a great time for the happy couple to visit with their guests, enjoy some cake & desserts and throw their bouquet and garter. Family & friends blew bubbles for their grand exit and they sped away in a black stretch limo. Congrats!!!

Tylicia & Justin at Dresser Mansion

by Sarah

Wedding & Reception venue: Dresser Mansion
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: Mershon's Catering & Event Design
Cakes: Merritt's Bakery
Catering: Mershon's Catering & Event Design
DJ: DJ Connection

Tylicia & Justin said "I Do" in the courtyard of the enchanting Dresser Mansion (I love that place; definitely on my list of favorite venues) so Judy and I were there to shoot the occassion. It was hot but so beautiful! Tylicia was looking drop-dead gorgeous and Justin was busy 'bringin' sexy back'! And I tell you what... those groomsmen had no shortage of personality! They tricked me into thinking I was 22 again.

The ceremony was very touching, as they honored Justin's late grandmother and read their own vows. Mershon's did a fabulous job (as always) with the decor, flowers and catering and DJ Marquis brought down the house with Justin's favorite... the Stanky Leg.

To Tylicia & Justin: it was an honor to be there with you for such an important day in your lives! Thank you for having us. I hope you're having a wonderful time in Atlantis right now!!

Eric & Kelly and Bridle Creek

by Jackey

Wedding & Reception venue: Bridle Creek
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Cakes: Icing on the Top

Storybook has photographed several weddings at Bridle Creek but this was the first time I shot there. Kim and I were so happy to capture the memories for Eric & Kelly.
This place is so charming with so much character!

Kelly is a doll and I adore her Mom and sister (that was all of the family I'd met prior to the wedding).. but once I met Eric, I found he was just as awesome as the rest of them.

The couple said their "I Do's", we did some formal portraits, they danced and then cut their incredible cakes from Icing on the Top. The groom's cake was movie reels stacked and the 'film' was black and white pictures of the bride & groom in fondant icing. I will be talking about those cakes for years to come!

It was a great event, great venue & vendors and wonderful clients. Wishing you all the best !!!!

Natalie & I traveled down to McAlester to capture Mallori & Preston's big day. We got there at noon and got to work!

If you've never been to the McAlester Country Club, you've got to check it out sometime, its got an amazing view!
Almost as nice as the black Corvette Preston and Mallori drove away in. Best Wishes guys!

Jeff & Jessa had a beautiful ceremony tonight at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Tulsa and Luke and I were there with them to capture their special day. After the ceremony, they had an amazing reception at the Doubletree. Their cake was gorgeous, food looked scrumptious and the music was just right! Both Jeff & Jessa's families were so kind, it was a pleasure to be there with them on such a big day!

On a side note...I'm telling you, if I had half the grace and elegance this girl has, I'd be a movie star! Jeff, you're one lucky guy!

Matt & Emily

by Sarah

Wedding & Reception Venue: Trinity Episcopal Church
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography

Oh happy day! Matt & Emily had a beautiful ceremony today at Trinity and made it official! Luke and I were there with them to document the day...and what a day it was! Somehow there was a mix up with the tuxes and poor Matt was left without anything to wear until the very last minute before he had to walk down the aisle. (Everyone on both sides of the family and all the vendors knew about the mishap, everyone except Emily! So naturally, Emily was just as calm as can be!) In the end, everything worked out just fine…whew! Both Emily and Matt’s families were an absolute pleasure to work with and we very much enjoyed being a part of such a special day. Congratulations Emily & Matt! Hope you’re having an amazing time at the beach right now!

The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was so much fun! Leslie and Ben brought down the house with their first dance...amazing, you guys! Both families were so wonderful and kind, it's no wonder that Leslie and Ben turned out so sweet! I'll quit blathering now and show you a few pictures!

Tying the knot in BA - Chelsea & Conrad

by Jackey

Wedding & Reception Venue: St. Benedict's
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: Nibbles by Grandeur Affaires
Cakes: Merritts Bakery
Catering: Nibbles by Grandeur Affaires
DJ: Alan Bryan

Chelsea & Conrad were a total blast tonight! What an awesome couple! So much fun and so in love with each other.
Adam and I arrived at St. Benedict's Church in BA and while he took the guys outside for some portraits, I found the girls and we went in the sanctuary for bridesmaids and family shots.
The ceremony was wonderful, as it always is at St. Ben's, with Father Joe officiating.
And the reception was spectacular, with lime green, hot pink and black decor from the chair covers to the cake, to the napkins. Chelsea had everything tied together like a wedding out of a magazine.

The couple dined at the head table, danced, fed each other cake and had a sparkler exit. Adam and I had the best time working with this couple. Thanks for everything Chelsea & Conrad! We wish you all the best!!

DeAnna and I had a blast with this great couple today. The wedding was at one of my favorite churches in Tulsa (so beautiful). The ceremony was amazing and the couple had their grand exit thru a flurry of bubbled on the grand steps of First United Methodist.
After a limo drove the couple away, we met them at the reception. A wonderful toast, dancing, cake and an exciting time was had by all. Best wishes guys!!
