Joe & Wendy say "I DO" at Forest Ridge

by Sarah
Wedding & Reception Venue: Forest Ridge Golf Club
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: a family friend
Cake: Ludger's
Catering: Forest Ridge
Videography: Hawkins Digital Media
DJ: Infinity Music

Adam & I photographed Joe & Wendy's wedding today and Jackey came by to help some during the formals. I actually met this great couple a few months ago when I photographed their e-session in downtown BA. They got married today at Forest Ridge. Gorgeous! It was an outside wedding and the weather was perfect. Although it kept threatening to rain, it turned out beautiful.
And Wendy's dress... oh ... my ... GOSH! It was straight out of a magazine.
BEST WISHES, JOE & WENDY!!

Grant & Jennifer wedd at Tarp Chapel

by Blaine
Wedding & Reception venue: Tarp Chapel
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: Tasha Barthdic
Cake: Merritt's Bakery
Catering: Tarp Chapel
Videographer: Tulsa Custom Video

Jackey & I had the best time working with this wonderful couple and their families. It was a bit of a reunion for me because I photographed Grant's sister's wedding last year (Starla).
Tarp Chapel is one of my favorite venues. There are so many great places for pictures.
I loved the colors they chose: there were several vibrant colors with black as the main accent. Talk about elegant!
Grant & Jennifer chose to see each other before the ceremony, so that gave us a lot of good sunlight for outdoor shots. The ceremony was gorgeous and the reception was so beautiful words can't describe.
This couple is loved by so much family and friends, it was plain to see.
After the festivities, they ran through an aisle of sparklers. What a great way to end a great wedding!
Thanks for choosing us, Grant & Jennifer! We really loved working with you both!

Castle of Muskogee

by DeAnna

It was back to Muskogee for another wonderful wedding. This time I photographed with Sarah and the destination was the awesome Castle of Muskogee (one of my favorite places in Oklahoma)! The bride and groom (Chelsea & John) tied in the gothic feel of the castle, with their decorations and serving pieces for a true renaissance feel. We wish you all the best John & Chelsea!!

Krissi & Denver !!

by Sarah
Wedding venue: Asbury United Methodist Church
Reception venue: Renaissance Hotel
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: Petal Pushers
Cake: Icing On The Top
DJ: DJ Connection

Luke and I had the privilege of shooting Krissi & Denver's wedding tonight. It was soooo beautiful! Krissi was absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown and their little boy Landon was so adorable in his little cowboy boots and mini tux. Their ceremony was in the elegant chapel at Asbury, and the reception was at the Renaissance, need I say more? Their cake was so classy and they even had a little blue truck cake made for Landon, so cute! The food looked and smelled fabulous (Renaissance food?) and DJ Clay kept the party going all night long! Congrats Krissi & Denver!

Muskogee for a rainy Wedding Day

by DeAnna
Wedding venue: First Baptist Church
Reception venue: Kilherens Lodge
Photography: Storybook Wedding Photography
Flowers: Cagle's Flowers
Cake: Sweet Temptations
DJ: DJ Connection
Videography: Mitzi's Photography

Jackey and I traveled to Muskogee this afternoon to photography Sandie & Nate's wedding. It stormed most of the time but luckily it stopped so that the guys and I could go outside for some great shots. I loved using this gorgeous church as the backdrop. It was built in 1903 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The colors they chose were orange and blue.
The newlyweds ran through bubbles as they exited the church and drove off in a red Dodge Prowler!
The reception was at the brand new Kilherens Lodge, which is a great place with such ambiance. This reception had it all: dinner, dancing, drinks, cake and so much fun!
Best wishes Sandie & Nate!

John & Emily ring in the April weddings!!

by Blaine
I had a wonderful time photographing this couple today. I started out at Utica Square and got some great shots with the guys. Then we headed downtown and met up with Sarah, who was photographing the girls. We then arranged for John & Emily to see each other for the first time and found a great spot by the clock at 3rd & Boston. This is such a nice couple and so great to work with.

Then Kristal Limo took the bride and groom to the Believer's Church for the ceremony. When Sarah and I got there, we hooked up with Jim Passmore and his wife Denise, with Captain Video. They and Kristal Limo are members of the Tulsa Wedding Society with us, so its always great to work with awesome vendors like them.

Another couple who's wedding we photographed a couple of years ago, were in this wedding so it was nice to see them and their friends again.

The ceremony was dimly lit and very romantic with a rose petaled aisle. The bride and groom were so in love, it really shows in the pictures.

The reception was downtown at the Bernsen Center, which is always grand and gorgeous! Just Catering by Orr provided the catering and the flowers were created by the bride's friend who owns Sunshine and Roses flowers. The couple had their first dance, cut their cake, threw the bouquet, visited with friends and family, had some cake and then ran through a flurry of bubbles and into their happily ever after.
